Seminar: The Problem with Theory and Practice in Legal Studies The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a seminar entitled: The Problem with Theory and Practice in Legal Studies, delivered by Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Karim on December 12th, 2022, and attended by faculty professors.  This seminar aimed to shed light on the gap between the current practices and the implemented curriculums. A fruitful discussion also took place, and towards the end of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Law thanked Mr. Mohamed Abdel-Karim for the seminar and wished to see further presentations of his knowledge and expertise in the future.

Law Students Visited the Adult Reform Directorate in Erbil As part of the activities organised by the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University to provide more opportunities for students in the field of social science and law, our faculty visited the Adult Reform Directorate in Erbil on December 7th, 2022, under the supervision of Mr. Mohmmad Abdulkareem. Second Grade Students Visited The Juvenile Prison The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a visit to the juvenile prison for second-grade students on October 11th, 2021. The visit was supervised by Mr. Mohamad Abdulkareem and Ms. Bayar Imad, who discussed the distribution of juveniles aged 11 to 15. During the trip, the social researcher, psychologist, and the legal department director explained how to deal with juveniles returning to society as legal persons.
