Second Grade Students Visited The Juvenile Prison

The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a visit to the juvenile prison for second-grade students on October 11th, 2021. The visit was supervised by Mr. Mohamad Abdulkareem and Ms. Bayar Imad, who discussed the distribution of juveniles aged 11 to 15.

During the trip, the social researcher, psychologist, and the legal department director explained how to deal with juveniles returning to society as legal persons. He further explained how the prison is managed by five ministries, which are administratively under the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, legally administered by the Prosecutor General and protected by the Ministry of Interior. Students also engaged in a question-and-answer session with the prison staff to find out more about how juveniles legislation.
