Opening Courtroom Ceremony The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University opened a new courtroom on February 16th, 2022. The opening ceremony was held in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Head of Research and Development Office at the Ministry of Higher Education, President at Tishk International University, Head of Board of Trustees, Dean of Faculty of Law, Head of Department, lectures, and students. Visit Your Future Program The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a “Visit Your Future Event” to be held soon at TIU. In light of this event, high school visits were conducted from February 2nd till February 17th, 2022. The purpose of ‘Visit Your Future Event’ is to introduce students to the Faculty of Dentistry and provide high school students an opportunity to visit the campus. The faculty of Law in TIU will organize a national Workshop titled "The Legal System of Alternative Families in Kurdistan". The workshop will be presented Mr. Waleed Khalid Qassim , the executive director of Social Welfare Department in Kurdistan. The Workshop highlights the issue of orphaned children in Kurdistan and discusses the challenges that face alternative families to adopt them. The workshop also argues the role of social affair institutions in Kurdistan Region to reduce their issues.  The Workshop will be held on 14th Mar 2022 at 1 pm hall 401 the main building.

Dissertation Discussion on Public Law On January 12th, 2022, Bayar Ahmad Farooq, Master of Law student at the Joint Higher Education Program, presented a dissertation on Public Law titled (التنظيم التشرعي لأبرام عقد الشراكة بين القطاع العام و القطاع الخاص). This dissertation was under the supervision of Asst.Prof.Dr. Mariwan Sabr. The Discussion Committee consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani, who was appointed as Chairman of Committee,  Asst.
