Seminar on Provisions for Investment of Minors On November 2nd, 2022, Mr. Muhammad Ashraf Sheikho, Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University, presented a seminar entitled Provisions for the Investment of Minors' Money in Iraqi Law. This seminar discussed the law on the care of minors to protect them from the social and financial aspects through the preservation and management of minors' funds through the minor's legal representative. The Faculty of Law Hosts An Academic Debate The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University hosted an academic debate titled: Shura Council in the Kurdistan Region, held on October 30th, 2022. The debate featured second-stage law students Mevan Ahmed and Mohmmad Abdullah, who presented under the supervision of Ms. Mohmmad Abdulkareem. The debaters discussed the activities of the Shura Council, its characteristics and administrative judicial powers, and the shortcomings of the Kurdistan Regional Council Law No. 14 for 2008, which should be amended by the Kurdistan Council of Ministers.

Second Grade Students Visited The Juvenile Prison The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a visit to the juvenile prison for second-grade students on October 11th, 2021. The visit was supervised by Mr. Mohamad Abdulkareem and Ms. Bayar Imad, who discussed the distribution of juveniles aged 11 to 15. During the trip, the social researcher, psychologist, and the legal department director explained how to deal with juveniles returning to society as legal persons. Dr. Hussien Balisani, Dr. Abdulbast Kareem, Dr. Sabah Qasim, and Dr. Mustafa Bingol rewarded Vina Hassan Abdulah for participation in Best Diplomats United Nations Simulation & Arab Youth International MUN 2022 conference in Dubai. Vina has been chosen among 25629 applicants to participate in the international conference. Scientific Debate on Vis Moot On September 12th 2022, Hussein Soran, a student at the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University, conducted a scientific debate on VIS Moot, an annual international competition. The debate started with a speech by Dr. Abdul Basset Kareem Mawlood, who enriched the audience with his knowledge and practical experience. The debate discussed the history of the International Competition of Arbitration, launched in 1992; more than 300 law faculties and colleges worldwide have participated in this competition. The Legal Framework of the Integrity Commission in Kurdistan Training Course In collaboration with the Kurdistan Integrity Commission, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a training course entitled "The Legal Framework of the Integrity Commission in Kurdistan" from March 5th to April 22nd, 2022.
