In Saturday of 16-2-2019 and during our social activity, law department visited Debaga migrants with dean of students with several lecturers from Tishk International University for carrying the issue of migrants and during this visiting the lecturers distributed many gifts and materials for migrants and took the decision to continue with this activity and help them more in the future.
Tishk International University (TIU) is organizing the event of “Visit Your Future” for the second year in row for the high school students. This year on February 19-20-21, 2019 TIU will host all high school students inside Erbil to introduce them to our faculties, departments and units. On Thursday, February 07, 2019, Dr. Imad Fattah Ismail, lecturer in the faculty of law presented an internal seminar to the faculty colleagues in Hall no. 402. The seminar title was (Crime of Beatings Leading to Death). In the presence of the dean of the faculty, lecturers and students the seminar was presented. At the end of the seminar, questions and discussions were held about the seminar between the presenter, lecturers and students.
On February 11, 2019, in Hall no. 401 the first round of the scientific competition (Stars) was held which is a cultural competition between the students from faculty of law as part of the scientific and social activities, and this competition will continue until the end of the academic year 2018 – 2019. In January 10, 2019, Tishk International University celebrated the Accreditation Certificate Awarding for Law Department. The certificate was issued as a result of the evaluation conducted by the Experts Panel of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center of AArU (The Association of Arab Universities) on the Law Bachelor Degree Program of Tishk International University.
