Welcoming ceremony for freshmen
The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University held a welcoming ceremony for first-year law students on Sunday 19th of December, 2021. The event was held in the presence of the Head of the Faculty of Law Mr. Ako Sabah, faculty lecturers, administrative staff, and students. The aim of the ceremony was to welcome the new coming students and to present informative videos about TIU and the Faculty of Law to familiarize them with university life.
Mr. Ako Sabah presented a speech in which he congratulated the students on their achievements, and assured them of their choice to study at TIU. He also explained how all members of the faculty will assist them on their new academic journey and help them achieve their goals. He further stressed adherence to university and college guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all students, and a smooth academic journey.
Finally, the Dean of Students delivered a speech to discuss the clubs and activities that are offered in TIU, and how it will benefit students during their years of the program and in their professional careers. He also congratulated the students and wished them a successful and joyful year.
