Faculty of Law Held Annual Welcome Ceremony for 1st Year Students
The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) celebrated its annual welcoming ceremony with warmth and enthusiasm, embracing its newest members into the fold. On January 17th, 2024, first-year students stepped onto the campus, marking the commencement of an exciting academic adventure. The ceremony unfolded in two parts. It began with a symbolic cutting of the cake at the university, a gesture that signifies the start of a new chapter in the lives of these young scholars. Following this, students were invited to a delicious lunch at a restaurant, offering a delightful opportunity for the first-year students and faculty members to connect, share stories, and build bonds over delicious cuisine.
Dr. Huseyin Balisani, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, welcomed the new students, and with a voice full of encouragement, he urged the students to dive into this new chapter with great passion and boundless energy. He highlighted that Tishk International University is more than an institution for academic pursuit; it is a nurturing community that supports each individual’s growth, challenges, and achievements.
