Departmental Activities

On Thursday May 18th, 2017, Lawyer Ardalan was invited by Faculty of Law to give a seminar for the students of Law Department. The seminar was about (Role of Lawyers of The Court) which the subject was to open the future of our graduate students and train them for a ready area of court.  

On the date of may 16, 2017 Law Department organized The First Student Conference for the 4th grade graduation researches about Independence of Kurdistan. The conference started on 11:30 am in the main building in law Department hall no.402. There welcomed the head of Trusties Edrees Hadi Salih, and Vice President Dr. Mehmet Ozdemir, and some members of head of trusties and Administrative staff of law faculty and students of Law department and other departments of the university.  

Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized the 2nd International Conference (ILIC) on May 11th, 2017, with 45 researches in the field of law, politics, and Islamic Sharia in three languages – Kurdish, Arabic, and English. Participant were not only from Kurdistan and Iraq but also from Egypt, Bahrain, Malaysia, and Libya. Law Faculty of Tishk International University has held the panel entitled “The Oil Alternatives to Develop the Economy in the KRG Agriculture, Tourism and Industrial View” at Tishk International University with the corporation of Network Organization on May 3rd, 2017. Law Department of Tishk International University organized a seminar in cooperation with Islamic Thought Forum on April 23rd, 2017. The seminar was held under the theme of International Book Day. Mr. Abdulrahman Sadeeq was speaker of the seminar. The main aim of his speech was to encourage and advice the students to read more as well as underlined the significance of reading. On the day of April 13th, 2017, Faculty of Law held The Second Memorial of Anfal Days. The Ceremony went on 11:00 am in the faculty, where a range of pictures of the victims of the Anfal were shown, by the present of the deans of the departments, gentlemen of great researches about the Anfal, and also witnesses whom saw the Anfl tragedy were ready in the remembrance of that tragedy.
