At the invitation of Baghdad University, the Law Department of Tishk International University participated in The 28th Willem C.Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot 2020-2021 competition. Two of our bright students, Hadar Ashti Ahmed (Stage 4) and Firdaws Badei Baligh (Stage 2), under the supervision of Asst. Fifth Grade Student’s Graduation Research Discussion

On the 26th of April, 2021, the Law Department of Tishk International University arranged a two-day discussion and defense for final year graduation research. Students were given one week before the defense session to prepare and practice presenting their theses. The committee members included members of the Faculty of Law staff, who discussed and evaluated the presentations of the senior students based on several factors.

The Law Department of Tishk International University organized a national workshop on March 10th, 2021, titled ‘Understanding Criminal Behaviors Through Body Language’,by Dr. Fadih Jafon. The workshop discussed physical behaviors, as opposed to words, to express or convey information. Such behavior includes facial expression, body posture, hand movements, eyes, touch, and the use of space. The Faculty of Law of Tishk International University held a national workshop under the title of "Corrupt Crimes" on March 2nd, 2021. The seminar was presented by Dr. Imad Fatah, Lecturer at Salahaddin University and specialized at Criminals Law . The workshop discussed financial corruption and how it is condemned under Iraqi Law. On Thursday 4th, February 2021, Mr. Karo Kawa Mahmood, a first-grade student at Tishk International University Law Faculty, organized a presentation titled ‘Kurdish Youth in a Kurdish Society’. He started by playing a video about the well-known Anfal Genocide, the 1988 massacre of the Kurds in the Kurdistan Region in Northern Iraq, conducted by the Iraqi Regime heeded by Former Iraqi President Sadam Hussein.
