Department of Law very warmly welcomes their freshmen students. On january 11, the second welcome party was made for the freshmen students. there the dean Dr. Huseyin Cakillikoyak and other lecturers gave good speech for the students and also why its a good choice to choose Law.
A journey to Political Islam History In Turkey I Dean of Law Faculty gave a seminar about political islam how its adjourned to Political Islam in Turkey.
One of the shining activity of Law department’s Scientific Committee is that on Thursday December 22, 2016 Dr. Mohammed Sabah (Lecturer/Head of Scientific Committee in our department) invited Mrs. Sozan Areef of Women Empowerment Organization for give a seminar to our students under the title of (Underage marriage) where the seminar was held in our department and also participated by lots of students and lecturers. Also Dr. Huseyin Cakillikoyak (Dean of Law Faculty) gave a certificate to Mrs. Sozan for her humble soul to join us and come to our university.
Law Department started a little but sweet Mawlood Celebration. Today our department students were given sweets by the staffs of Law Department. All the students had a taste of Mawlood Sweet. Besides also our university president and the university staffs got the small gift of the most gratest prophet in all human being (Mohammed) Peace be Upon Him.
Faculty of law started the Second Moot Court, visited by Dr. edrees Hadi and Pelastine Consulate Manager, also our dean Dr. Huseyin cakillikoyak was there to see the sucess of his students and the hard work of Dr. Huseyin Balisani, and the inspector Muthafar Khalid. Students were practically gone through a real court that surprised every one.
On the date of 13th december, our faculty participated on the university activity of planting tree. Our students happily and kindly planted tree with our dean Dr. Huseyin cakillikoyaak and the head of department Dr. Adnan Abdullah. The activity was happily made for the love of nature inside everybody.
Erbil's one of the great lawyer Mr. Muzafar found it proud to spend time with our students and practice them by a court. yesterday on December 13, he took our students to Erbil Court to see some cases, and from 1:00 pm they started a court act in our department until 5:00 pm. Students were supervised by Dr. Huseyin Mohammed aslo. they were really the power and the words of the students coming out on the court. For today the students are ready to start a Moot Court infront of the audience.
Our department held an activity about moot court. It is one of the faculty activity to our students (third and fourth) grades. In Thursday at 11 am in room 434. The supervisor Ms. Deman Yousef, gave a great work and practicing with the students and stayed until late time for teaching the student their roles and act during the court. Students got a great experience besides the audience were surpriced by the court case and great act of the students.
Iraqi law makers have listed (adopted) the commercial business in an exclusive ways. Accordingly there is no way to get such business expanded. The presenter suggested that such a rule is not adjusted with daily commercial life, so we recommend to a mend article 5 of the Iraqi commercial law.
On November 16, 2016. Our lecturer Mr. Mustafa Resheed, and our Research Assistant Bayar Emad, including a range of students, visited Lawyer Zubeyr Haji saadi, whoose helping our students for a better step towards law, and make students to get more knowledge practically in the court.
