Law Faculty of Tishk International University has held the panel entitled “The Oil Alternatives to Develop the Economy in the KRG Agriculture, Tourism and Industrial View” at Tishk International University with the corporation of Network Organization on May 3rd, 2017. Law Department of Tishk International University organized a seminar in cooperation with Islamic Thought Forum on April 23rd, 2017. The seminar was held under the theme of International Book Day. Mr. Abdulrahman Sadeeq was speaker of the seminar. The main aim of his speech was to encourage and advice the students to read more as well as underlined the significance of reading. On the day of April 13th, 2017, Faculty of Law held The Second Memorial of Anfal Days. The Ceremony went on 11:00 am in the faculty, where a range of pictures of the victims of the Anfal were shown, by the present of the deans of the departments, gentlemen of great researches about the Anfal, and also witnesses whom saw the Anfl tragedy were ready in the remembrance of that tragedy. On the date of April 12th, 2017, faculty of Law participated in the University Spring Festival, by performing a moot court infron the guests. The Guests were interested in the court and was the most crowded spot in the festival.  

On the date of April 6th, 2017, faculty of Law arranged a Debate among Tishk International University, Lebaneese french University, and Salahaddin University students under the name of  “Student Debate on The Future of Destiny of The Kurdistan Region in Terms of Freedom, Federalism, and Confederation”. The Debate was successfully organized and scientifically judged by two judges from each universities to evaluate each group of students. The head of department of each involved universities were present, and also deans, vice president, prsident of Tishk International University were also proud to take place in such a successful Debate. On the date of March 29, 2017. Dr. Huseyin Balisani donated seven pieces of Holy Quran expository to the faculty of Law section in the Library. Faculty of Law is very proud of giving such a gift to the library, and certificated Dr. Huseyin Balisani for the great gift.
