On Thursday 9-11-2017 Law Department in room 321 at 2:00 Pm we presented workshop. The Presenter Dr. Imad Fatah showed the drug abuse and its conditions in the Iraqi Penal Code , indicating the seriousness and legal problems of the individuals and the society. He mentioned the texts legal articles and how to deal with them and compare them with other countries.
On Thursday of 9-11-2017 law department in hall 401 at 11:00 Am presented seminar. The presenter Mr. mustafa rashid issa illustrated the issue of (publishing legal papers in international journals for academic promotion). The purpose of this study is to determine the position of the lecturers to publish their papers in law department in those journals under NUR system and get academic promotion from inistary of higher education.
On thursday 2-11-2017 law department in room 321 at 2 :00 pm we presented workshop. The presenter Mr. Mustafa Azme bingul showed the academic advicing in law department and how we can improve the quality by academic advicing and put plans between the lecturers and our students as a family during open chanal connection by social activity and scientific activity and see with solving their obstacles. After the conclusion in workshop we found it is better to focus on academic advice rules and follow the instractions to protect and improve our students.

The presenter Dr. husyeen balisani showed the issue of ( libel ) The purpose of this study is to determine the Defining the crime of libel in the Penal law. The difference between the offense of defamation in Islamic law and the Penal law The penalty of crime and the power of discretionary judge.
On Wednesday 1-11-2017 in hall of (Moot Court) Law Department prepared training by Ass.prof Dr. hussyen balisany with Mr. Muzafer khalid (working at hawler court) for some students at 4th grade to prepare them for some judiciary actions about the procedures of the managing cases by practically and show it later for all grades of law students.
On Thursday 26-10-2017 the Law Department conducted the election of the representative of the students at each grade. On the day of 26-10-2017 law department in hall 401 at 11:00 Am presented seminar. The presenter Dr. Abdulbasit Kareem showed the issue of (Compulsory stash in the law of Iraqi companies). The purpose of this study is to determine the position of the Iraqi legislator in terms of the areas in which these reserves can be used. Is the Iraqi legislator permitted to exceed the losses of the company from this reserve as explicitly stated by the Kuwaiti, Egyptian and Saudi legislators?
On the day of 19-10-2017 law department in room 321 at 11am we presented workshop. The presenter Mr. Mustafa Rashid issa showed the quality of assurance in law department and how we can improve the quality by academic research and put plan between the lecturers and assistance researchers during social activity and scientific activity and following the requirements of ministry of higher education. After the conclusion in workshop we all see it is better to focus on academic research and follow the requirements of ministry of higher education.
