Scientific Trip to Erbil Governorate On May 2nd 2023, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a scientific trip to Erbil Governorate under the supervision of Mr. Mohammed Abdul Kareem. The purpose of the trip was to educate the students on the procedure of the tender process, from the petition by companies to the final step. The students discussed the legal issues with the head of Legal Affairs of the Erbil Governorate. Such activities significantly enhance law students’ scientific aspects in their future careers.

Faculty of Law Attends International Willem C. Vis Moot Competition in Vienna The Vienna Moot Court Competition is one of the most prestigious competitions in International Commercial Arbitration. Our team from Tishk International University ‘s Faculty of Law was the only team from the Kurdistan Region in Iraq to participate in the competition among 380 universities around the world. Under the supervision of Ms. Bayar Imad and some of our beloved students, the law faculty renovated a nursing home meeting room in a modern manner by providing a sound system, information display, and other requirements. On the 29/3/2023 our faculty visited the nursing home under supervision Dr. Hussien Balisani. They were warmly welcomed by the manager of the nursing room and appreciated our faculty’s efforts to help them every year. This annual visit is a valuable activity organized by the Faculty of Law to promote social responsibility and community engagement.

Faculty of Law Wins the TIU Champions League For the Second Time in a Row On March 6th, 2023, the final game of TIU’s Football League was played between the Law and Education faculties. The match kicked off at 4 PM in front of many student and staff fans. The game was intriguing and pleasurable to watch.
