Academic Debate: Multiple Nationality
As part of the ongoing efforts by the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) to create additional learning opportunities for students in the realm of social science and law, an Academic Debate titled “Multiple Nationality” was conducted on November 6th, 2023. This event was conducted under the guidance of Mr. Mohammed Ashraf and featured two groups of fourth-year students engaging in a lively exchange of ideas. The debate garnered significant attendance from fellow students and was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including the Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani, and Head of the Department, Dr. Sabah Qasim.
During the course of the debate, both groups eloquently presented and discussed their viewpoints on the topic of multiple nationality. One group advocated in favor of the concept, while the opposing group argued against it.
As the debate concluded, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani commended the participants for their valuable contributions and expressed his desire to organize more such scholarly debates in the future, fostering intellectual discourse within the academic community.
