Seminar:The Importance of Labor Law and Social Security for Employees in the Private Sector
In continuation of Scientific activities the Law Faculty at Tishk International University organized a seminar on Tuesday November 4 2025,entitled “The Importance of Labor Law and Social Security for Employees in the Private Sector.” the presenter Mr. Ardalān Muhyaddin from the General Directorate of Labor and Social Security of KRI, the moderator Asst. Prof. Dr. Najdat Akreyi, lecturer at the Law Faculty at Tishk International University. The Seminar addressed the significance of labor law and social security in protecting the rights of private sector employees, as well as their role in promoting social justice and ensuring a sustainable and equitable working environment. It also involved discussions on the most prominent challenges and practical policy measures in this field. The aim of this seminar was to provide acknowledgment to students The Importance of Labor Law and Social Security for Employees in the Private Sector in Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
The seminar concluded with a productive exchange of ideas among participants on strategies to develop and adapt labor legislation in response to contemporary changes in the labor market.
