On December 4, 2024, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a seminar titled, “Constitutional and Legal Challenges Faced by the Federal Court.” The seminar was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Soran Ali Hassan from the Kurdistan Region Presidency.
The event, held in Hall 443 of the Main Building, was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani, Dean of Faculty, Sabah Qasim, Head of the Department, and other staff members. During the seminar, Dr. Hassan clarified the foundation of the federal court and discussed the legal challenges and issues it faces. He also addressed the conflicts between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government and the necessary amendments to the rules currently in force within the federal court in Iraq.
