Participation in the International Negotiation and Mediation Program by UNDP

Four students from the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) (Daniela Dawood, Safar Qadir, Vina Hassan, and Areen Nabaz) participated in the International Negotiation and Mediation Program organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Iraq) in partnership with the American University-Sulaymaniyah. The program aimed to enhance the negotiation and mediation skills of law students in the context of international trade.

The program spanned over 7 days and included intensive training sessions and simulations. Our students demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout the program, culminating in their achievement of second place overall. Their performance was recognized with an award and certificate for the most excellent joint work between client and consultant.

This achievement reflects not only the talent and hard work of our students but also the effectiveness of our institution’s legal education program in preparing students for real-world challenges in the field of international trade law.

We extend our congratulations to the participating students and look forward to their continued success in their legal careers.
