Participation of Two Faculty Members from the Faculty of Law in an International Conference
As part of efforts to strengthen scientific research and expand academic engagement at both the regional and international levels, two faculty members from the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University participated in the International Conference of Amman Arab University in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on 20–21 December 2025. The conference was dedicated to discussing the legal liability of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector.
This participation took the form of a joint research paper authored by Dr. Badr Mohammed Taher Mustafa and Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Shakhawan Najm al-Din, entitled “Criminal Liability of Artificial Intelligence in International Crimes.” Assistant Lecturer Abdullah Shakhawan Najm al-Din presented the paper during the conference proceedings through an academic seminar, in the presence of a distinguished group of academics and researchers specializing in law and modern technologies. This participation aligns with the university’s commitment to supporting its faculty members’ involvement in international scientific conferences, thereby contributing to the development of scientific research and keeping pace with contemporary legal developments, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence and its legal applications. This academic participation is consistent with SDG 4 (Quality Education) through its support for scientific research and high-quality higher education. It is also linked to SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by contributing to the development of legal frameworks and enhancing the rule of law and legal accountability in light of contemporary technological advancements.
