The workshop aimed to highlight the legislative framework related to protecting women from various forms of violence and to enhance the legal awareness of female staff regarding national and international mechanisms that support women’s rights. The workshop was designated exclusively for female employees and was attended by several faculty members and staff from different university departments.
The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Rozhan Dzayee, Dean of the Faculty of Law, who addressed the legislative foundations for protecting women. The session was moderated by Ms. Zainab Yaseen Ahmed, a lecturer in the faculty of nursing.
