National Workshop:The Phenomenon of Domestic Violence in the Kurdistan Region
The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a National Workshop on The Phenomenon of Domestic Violence in the Kurdistan Region, held on November 26th, 2023. The workshop, designed as part of the university’s educational activities, brought together speakers Prof.Dr.Tavga Abas Albastani and Ms.Lana Luqman Mustafa, and was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulbasit Kareem.
The event was graced by the Dean of Faculty of Law Dr. Hussein Balisani, faculty members, teachers, students, and guests. During the workshop, Prof.Dr.Tavga Abas Albastani and Ms.Lana Luqman Mustafa discussed the legal dimensions and procedures taken in the case of family violence in the Kurdistan Region.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Balisani, on behalf of the Faculty of Law, expressed sincere gratitude to the speakers and the moderator for their insightful efforts.
