The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a national workshop titled “Importance of Religious Diversity in Kurdistan – Iraq” on November 19, 2024.
The workshop featured two speakers: Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaban Abdulkareem Al Shex Ali, from the College of Islamic Sciences at Salahadin University. The moderator was Mr. Badr Muhammed Tahir, Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Law.
During the event, speakers and attendees discussed the importance of religious diversity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. The discussion also touched on promoting harmony in society and the need to respect all individuals.
On behalf of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Hussien Balisani expressed gratitude to the speakers and moderator. He emphasized the faculty’s commitment to hosting similar academic and international workshops in the future, reinforcing the university’s dedication to providing a comprehensive education that extends beyond traditional classrooms.
