National Workshop: Freedom, Its Restrictions and Performance
The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a National Workshop on Freedom, its Restrictions, and Performance, held on November 9th, 2023. The workshop, designed as part of the university’s educational activities, brought together distinguished speakers Dr. Mohammed Sharif and Dr. Othman Ali, moderated by Asst. Prof. Najdat Sabri.
The event was graced by the President of TIU, Prof. Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, Dr. Wassfi Qahwachi, Director of the Research Center of TIU, and Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Hussein Balisani, faculty members, teachers, students, and guests. The workshop tackled the intricate concept of freedom, exploring its dimensions, restrictions, and dynamic performance in society. Speakers Dr. Mohammed Sharif and Dr. Othman Ali provided valuable insights into the delicate balance required between freedom and restriction. Emphasizing the importance of preserving individual and societal rights while maintaining order, the discussions highlighted the role of this equilibrium in optimizing societal performance.
