Mock Administrative Court: Lawsuit for Holding a Public Employee Financially Liable
The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a mock trial on the topic of a “lawsuit for holding a public employee financially liable” as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen students’ practical skills and provide a well-rounded legal education. The event took place on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Fourth-year students took part in the mock administrative court session under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Abdul Karim, with a number of faculty members and students in attendance. The activity aimed to:
- Give students hands-on experience with courtroom procedures and witness examination.
- Train them to present evidence and legal arguments effectively and to draft well-structured legal briefs.
This mock trial served as a valuable learning experience, allowing students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a realistic, practice-based setting. It deepened their understanding of judicial processes while providing an excellent platform to refine their skills and prepare for their future careers. The initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to graduating a capable new generation of lawyers and judges.
