Law Student Participates in the World Youth Festival in Russia
Waro Diyari Hussein, a student at the Faculty of Law, Tishk International University, participated in the World Youth Festival in Russia with the sponsorship and support of Tishk International University. The festival was held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from September 11 to 17, 2026.
The World Youth Festival is an international gathering that brings together thousands of young people from around 190 countries, providing a platform for cultural exchange, international networking, and participation in diverse academic, cultural, professional, and social activities.
The festival featured a wide range of exhibitions and activities covering areas such as electronics, innovation, universities, culture, literature, industry, agriculture, and vocational fields. In addition, several external programs were organized to give participants opportunities to explore the host city and experience various activities and cultural programs firsthand.
Following a highly competitive registration process, Waro Diyari Hussein was selected to participate in this international event. Through his participation, he had the opportunity to introduce Kurdistan and Kurdish culture to participants from around the world, including Russia.
Tishk International University continues to support its students in participating in international academic and cultural events, providing them with opportunities to develop their skills, broaden their international experiences, and represent their university and culture on the global stage.
