On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted an international workshop titled, “The Impact of Modern Technologies on Research in Jurisprudence and Legislation.”
The workshop, moderated by Dr. Muhammed Abdul Kareem, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, featured two sessions. The first, on “The Influence of Modern Technologies on Research in Jurisprudence and Legislation,” was presented by Dr. Ghazi Khaled Ahmed Abu Aarabi, a Professor of Private Law at the College of Law, United Arab Emirates University. The second session, titled “Artificial Intelligence and Legal Challenges,” was presented by Dr. Abdulnasr Musa Abu Al-Basal, former Minister of Awqaf in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, President of Tishk International University, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Hussein Balisani, faculty members, students, and guests. The workshop aimed to discuss the development of study plans for Bachelor’s Programs in Jordan and the legal framework for Jordanian universities.
On behalf of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Huseyin Balisani expressed gratitude to the speakers and moderator for their insightful presentations. He emphasized the faculty’s commitment to fostering similar academic and international workshops in the future, reinforcing the university’s dedication to providing a comprehensive education that extends beyond traditional classroom settings.
