Faculty of Law Hosts a Mock Trial

On April 18, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a mock trial for its fourth-year law students. The trial was guided by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Abdulkareem and aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of how an administrative court functions.

The trial allowed students to practice submitting petitions, navigating legal procedures, hearing witness testimonies, and presenting evidence. The event, attended by Dr. Hussein Balisany, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Sabah Qasim, Head of the Department, along with faculty lecturers and students, provided an immersive learning experience. It served as a platform for students to apply their theoretical knowledge to a realistic scenario, preparing them for their future roles in the legal profession.
