On January 29, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a mock trial for its fourth-year law students. The event was guided by Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Abdulkareem and aimed to provide practical experience in administrative court procedures, including the submission of petitions, legal proceedings, witness testimonies, and the presentation of evidence.
The mock trial was attended by Dr. Hussein Balisany, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Sabah Qasim, Head of the Department, along with other faculty members and students. This immersive learning experience allowed students to apply their theoretical knowledge to a realistic scenario, deepening their comprehension of judicial practices and legal procedures. This initiative is designed to effectively prepare them for their future roles in the legal profession.
