Faculty of Law Concludes Training Course Entitled: AI: Legal Implications.

The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University successfully concluded the specialized training course entitled “AI: Legal Implications,” delivered by Dr. Hemen Ibrahim, with distinguished participation from faculty members and administrative staff of the college.

This course was organized as part of the faculty’s ongoing efforts to enhance the competencies of its academic and administrative personnel and to keep pace with the rapid developments in both legal and technological fields. The program addressed the legal dimensions of artificial intelligence and its impact on contemporary legal systems, in addition to discussing key regulatory and ethical challenges, as well as future opportunities associated with its applications in the legal domain.

The course was conducted over a period of six weeks, with one lecture per week at the beginning of each working week, lasting two hours (from 3:00 to 5:00 PM), during February and April 2026. The course covered the following topics:

  • Week 1: Introduction to AI and Legal Frameworks – Sunday, February 1, 2026
  • Week 2: Foundations of AI Regulation – Sunday, February 8, 2026
  • Week 3: AI and Data Protection Laws – Sunday, February 15, 2026
  • Week 4: Liability in AI Applications – Sunday, February 22, 2026
  • Week 5: AI and Intellectual Property Rights – Sunday, April 5, 2026
  • Week 6: Future of AI in Legal Practice & Final Discussion – Sunday, April 12, 2026

At the conclusion of the course, on April 14, 2026, the faculty honored Dr. Hemen Ibrahim with a commemorative shield in recognition of his outstanding academic efforts and valuable contributions to the success of the program.

This initiative reflects the Faculty of Law’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education and continuous professional development, in line with contemporary digital transformations. It also contributes to preparing legal professionals capable of addressing future challenges, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education).
