Developing Collaboration With University of Kirkuk

On the 3rd of March 2022, representatives from the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Hussain Balisany visited the University of Kirkuk – Faculty of Law. The visit aimed to reinforce the academic and scientific collaboration between the two universities.

The delegation met Dr. Salwa Ahmed Maidan, Dean of Faculty of Law at the University of Kirkuk, Dr. Newzad Ahmad, Vice Dean, and Dr. Ahmad Samir, Secretary of the Faculty Journal.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the mutual collaboration regarding the publication of scientific and academic research, organizing joint conferences. Both TIU and the University of Kirkuk agreed and confirmed to expand and develop the collaboration between the two universities.

A cooperation memorandum was signed by the Dean of Faculty of TIU and University of Kirkuk to ensure that all research presented at the International Legal Issues Conferences held at Tishk International University to be published by the University of Kirkuk – Faculty of Law’s Journal. This valuable collaboration will significantly enhance the quality of the publications presented at our annual International Legal Issue Conferences and will set the stage for more opportunities to strengthen the mutual collaboration between Tishk International University and the University of Kirkuk in the future.
