Law Department of Tishk International University organized a bowling competition among the first grade students in Tablo Mall on the date May 5, 2021. on 24th December 2020 Law Department Visited the Elderly House for the second time in this year as always our staff and some volunteered students went there caring bags full of supplies which contain winter clothes and other stuffs, in our visit we discussed with the responsible for the elderly about what they need from us and how we can give a helping hand in our next visit in near future.

On December 23, Wednesday  Law Department organized national workshop under the tittle of (how to organize Family ) by Dr. Jaafer Gwani it started with the role of family in society and how its important and how it effects everything around us, then discussed problems and issues that leads to family separation and how to solve them by educating our new generation step by step, it ends with Questions and answers between the presenter and the audience  .

TIU- Continuing Education Center organizing these courses and programs on different fields of life, especially language courses, Design Courses Programs, English language School , and Etc. to prove a resolution with our learner-focused instruction. On December 19th, 2020 Faculty of Law and business department  organized an excursion to Safin  Mt.  for the faculty students .Dr. Mustafa Azmi Bingol Lecturer at Law Department and dr. Neville D' Cunha assistant professor at International Relations and Dr. Hamdi serin Lecturer at Business and Management joined the trip and enjoy nature as a part of this curricular activity. Safin  Mt. located in Shaqlawa Erbil Governorate, with high of about 1800 meter above the sea level. Law Faculty designed the excursion as part of the parcel of the life of students. On December 16 , 2020 fifth grade students in Law departments Tishk International University Provided Presentations in Real Rights supervised by Dr. Sabah Qasim. The head of department and other lecturers also attended the presentations.                  

on December 13 Law Department Tishk International University Held an event for welcoming new students for academic years 2020-2021 , with a present of Dean ,head of law department and all lecturers and staff from law department . it started with Dean 's Speech Asst. Prof. Dr Hussain Balisani for new students later Mr. Ako Sabah Head of law Department discussed some issues and information on Law Departments history  and it ends with important  information that will guide them for next five years here on TIU at Law Department.            

On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the Law Department at Tishk International University organized a memorial ceremony for the death of a recently graduated student (Kamiar Mahmood Tofiq). TIU president, TIU staff, students, lecturers, and head of the law department participated in the ceremony and shared this sour moment with Kamiar’s family members.  A short biography of Kamiar was shown. His gentleness, hardworking, and kindness were the main characteristic of Kamiar. Both Dr. Hussein Balisani, Dean of law faculty, and Mr. Ako Sabah, Head of the law department presented a speech. Breakfast with students Law faculty organizes breakfast for the students annually on November 23 2020. This year we had a big meal with a number of healthy breakfast items including many types of cheese, honey, qaymak, olive, egg, etc. After the meal, all students expressed their satisfaction with the organization and demanded such activities to be more frequent.
