Around the world, Muslims celebrate the birth of their beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), who came to humanity as a guide and leader. Kurdish people observe this occasion by decorating their homes and bazaars and exchanging sweets and desserts. Faculty of Law Organises Staff Breakfast The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a breakfast for faculty staff members on October 12th, 2022. The event aimed to introduce new staff members to the faculty and introduce the annual scientific and social activities that are carried out. This event also allowed staff members to strengthen their relationship bonds and interact with the faculty family.

Second Grade Students Visited The Juvenile Prison The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organised a visit to the juvenile prison for second-grade students on October 11th, 2021. The visit was supervised by Mr. Mohamad Abdulkareem and Ms. Bayar Imad, who discussed the distribution of juveniles aged 11 to 15. During the trip, the social researcher, psychologist, and the legal department director explained how to deal with juveniles returning to society as legal persons. Faculty of Law Appreciation Award On the 27th of September, 2022, in the office of the Dean of Faculty of Law,  in the presence of Ass. Dr. Hussien Balisani, Dr. Abdulbast Kareem, Dr. Sabah Qasim, and Dr. Mustafa Bingol rewarded Vina Hassan Abdulah for participation in Best Diplomats United Nations Simulation & Arab Youth International MUN 2022 conference in Dubai. Vina has been chosen among 25629 applicants to participate in the international conference. The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University extends sincere gratitude to Vina Hassan for her efforts and wish her great success.

Scientific Debate on Vis Moot On September 12th 2022, Hussein Soran, a student at the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University, conducted a scientific debate on VIS Moot, an annual international competition. The debate started with a speech by Dr. Abdul Basset Kareem Mawlood, who enriched the audience with his knowledge and practical experience. The debate discussed the history of the International Competition of Arbitration, launched in 1992; more than 300 law faculties and colleges worldwide have participated in this competition. The Legal Framework of the Integrity Commission in Kurdistan Training Course In collaboration with the Kurdistan Integrity Commission, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a training course entitled "The Legal Framework of the Integrity Commission in Kurdistan" from March 5th to April 22nd, 2022. Former Iraqi Integrity Commission Judge Dr Raheem Al-Qgaili provided the first axis of the training course. Presenting a Trial at the International Festival The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University presented a trial at the 5th International Festival of Language, Culture, and Science on May 17th, 2022. At TIU's annual festival, representatives from 25 consulates exhibited their own culture, and college students participated with their scientific expertise and innovations. The Faculty of Law presented two cases in the trial; each lasting 90 minutes. The trial was attended by students, guests and faculty staff members. We would like to thank our students for their active participation in the festival and look forward to next year's event

Appreciation Ceremony In the presence of the Dean Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hussein Blisani, Head of Department M. Ako Sabah, and Shayan Magazine Consultant Dr. Mustafa Zangana, lecturers, and students, an appreciation ceremony was held on May 11th, 2022 in recognition of students' efforts in writing articles for Shayan Magazine. The Dean of Faculty Law Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani and Shayan Magazine Consultant Dr. Mustafa Zangana delivered their speeches, explaining the importance of writing articles and participating in extracurricular activities. They also thanked students for contributing to Shayan Magazine and wished them success in their future endeavors.
