on December 13 Law Department Tishk International University Held an event for welcoming new students for academic years 2020-2021 , with a present of Dean ,head of law department and all lecturers and staff from law department . it started with Dean 's Speech Asst. Prof. Dr Hussain Balisani for new students later Mr. Ako Sabah Head of law Department discussed some issues and information on Law Departments history  and it ends with important  information that will guide them for next five years here on TIU at Law Department.            

On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the Law Department at Tishk International University organized a memorial ceremony for the death of a recently graduated student (Kamiar Mahmood Tofiq). TIU president, TIU staff, students, lecturers, and head of the law department participated in the ceremony and shared this sour moment with Kamiar’s family members.  A short biography of Kamiar was shown. His gentleness, hardworking, and kindness were the main characteristic of Kamiar. Both Dr. Hussein Balisani, Dean of law faculty, and Mr. Ako Sabah, Head of the law department presented a speech. Breakfast with students Law faculty organizes breakfast for the students annually on November 23 2020. This year we had a big meal with a number of healthy breakfast items including many types of cheese, honey, qaymak, olive, egg, etc. After the meal, all students expressed their satisfaction with the organization and demanded such activities to be more frequent.
