Faculty of Law Alumni Reunion On November 9th, 2022, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University invited the alumni students of several previous years to a reunion organised by the faculty. Fifty students participated in this event. Faculty of Law Table Tennis Tournament Comes To An End After a tough competition among students, the table tennis tournament at the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University has come to an end. The final match was held on November 7th between Ismail Fars and Ali Natiq. The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Head Faculty of Law, lecturers, and students watched the fantastic match and witnessed the victory of Ali Natiq, who became our faculty's champion after winning two rounds.

Law Faculty’s Trip to Akre On November 5th, 2022, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a trip to Akre town for law students under the supervision of Dr. Mustafa Bingol and Mr. Abdullah Shakhawan. The trip aimed to strengthen the relationships between the students and faculty staff. During the trip, they visited Akre Bazar, Midtown, and many other places. Staff and students also went hiking in Nowruz Mountain. Students expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the presidency of the Faculty of Law. The Faculty of Law Hosts An Academic Debate The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University hosted an academic debate titled: Shura Council in the Kurdistan Region, held on October 30th, 2022. The debate featured second-stage law students Mevan Ahmed and Mohmmad Abdullah, who presented under the supervision of Ms. Mohmmad Abdulkareem. The debaters discussed the activities of the Shura Council, its characteristics and administrative judicial powers, and the shortcomings of the Kurdistan Regional Council Law No. 14 for 2008, which should be amended by the Kurdistan Council of Ministers.
