The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University Organizes a Workshop on Strategies for Publishing Legal Research in High-Impact International Journals
The faculty of law at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a national workshop on 10 December 2025 entitled “Strategies for Publishing Legal Research in High-Impact International Journals.”
The workshop aimed to enhance international academic publishing skills and to introduce the standards of journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus. It was attended by faculty members of the Faculty of Law and Tishk International University, in addition to a number of researchers and students.
Assistant Professor Dr. Samira Tawfiq Saeed delivered a session on publishing in Web of Science journals, while Mr. Mohammed Ashraf Sheikho addressed the rules and requirements for publishing in Scopus-indexed journals. The workshop concluded with a discussion on the major challenges facing international publication. This event is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reinforcing the faculty’s role in supporting scientific research in accordance with global standards.
