Seminar: Corporate Social Responsibility
In continuation of scientific activities, the Law Faculty at Tishk International University organized a seminar on Monday, December 2, 2025, entitled “ Corporate Social Responsibility” The presenter Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulbasit Kareem, lecturer at Tishk International University, The seminar addressed the concept of corporate social responsibility as a framework that defines the ethical and developmental role companies should undertake alongside their economic functions.
During his presentation, the researcher focused on the relationship between adherence to social responsibility principles and the enhancement of corporate reputation and public trust. Practical examples of social responsibility programs and their impact on consumers, employees, and society were also presented.
The seminar witnessed active participation from faculty members, who engaged in discussions and raised numerous questions that enriched the dialogue regarding the role of companies in achieving a balance between profitability and ethical and social obligations.
