Scientific Trip to Kurdish-American Cultural Institute (KACI)
On November 18th, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University organized a scientific trip to Erbil Governorate. Under the supervision of Dr. Badr Mohammed and Mr. Hiwa Fuad during the trip, Mr. Azad Sameen delivered a presentation titled “KACI: Strengthening Governance and the Rule of Law,” highlighting the institute’s initiatives in promoting transparency, supporting judicial integrity, and empowering citizens. The visit concluded with a discussion session that emphasized the importance of cooperation between academic institutions and civil society organizations in building a more just and sustainable society.
This activity is aligned with the sixteenth goal of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which focuses on strengthening the rule of law and building fair and effective institutions. It also contributes to achieving the seventeenth goal by fostering partnerships and cooperation between universities, governmental bodies, and community organizations.
