Academic Debate: The Theory of Social Contract and Orientations of Scholars

In continuation of its scientific activities, on September 29th, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University hosted an academic debate for second-year students, titled “The Theory of Social Contract and Orientations of Scholars.” This event, organized by Dr. Badr Muhammad Tahir, was designed to provide students with an opportunity to articulate their views and critically engage with legal texts. The debate not only encouraged students to deepen their understanding of the social contract theory, but also challenged them to explore the varying perspectives of renowned scholars on the topic. Through this interactive exercise, the Faculty aimed to enhance the students’ analytical and argumentative skills, fostering a deeper appreciation for legal theory and its application in contemporary legal discourse.
