Law Faculty Honors Top Academic Achievers

On October 14, 2025 – The Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) held a distinguished ceremony on Tuesday to recognize and celebrate the exceptional academic achievements of its most outstanding students up to the 2024-2025 academic year.

The event, which underscored the faculty’s commitment to academic excellence, was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Hussein Balisani, alongside the Head of the Law Department, Dr. Sabah Qasim. They were accompanied by a delegation of the faculty’s junior and senior lecturers including Dr. Abdulbasit Kareem and academic assistants, all gathered to applaud the students’ dedication and hard work.

The ceremony was convened to honor the top three ranking students within the faculty, whose consistent high performance and profound understanding of legal principles have set a remarkable benchmark for their peers. The recipients were awarded formal certificates of achievement in front of an audience of faculty members and fellow students. The event also honored two of our exemplary students Mr. Raeed Omer and Mr. Mustafa Ali for their continuous dedication and resilience in their academic journey.

The event provided an opportunity for the honored students to network with senior faculty members, receiving personal congratulations and words of encouragement for their future endeavors. The atmosphere was described as both celebratory and inspiring, reinforcing the strong sense of community within the faculty.
