Seminar: The Civil Protection of The Right to Privacy

On January 14, 2025, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a seminar titled, “The Civil Protection of The Right to Privacy.” The seminar was presented by Mr. Mohammed Ashraf.

Held in Hall 437, the seminar was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussien Balisani, Dean of Faculty, Sabah Qasim, Head of the Department, and other staff members. During the session, Mr. Ashraf clarified the definition of the civil right to privacy in light of Iraqi laws, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and relevant judicial decisions. He also addressed the changes and developments in this area and the necessary amendments to the laws currently in force in Iraq.
