Renovating Erbil Nursing Home by Faculty of law
Since 2018, the Faculty of Law at Tishk International University (TIU) has committed to supporting the Erbil Nursing Home. On November 29th, 2023, the faculty contributed to a university-wide fundraising event aimed at bolstering various charitable projects. The Faculty of Law successfully raised 2,500,000 Iraqi Dinars for the Nursing Home Community Service Project. Further demonstrating their commitment, on March 10th, 2023, under the guidance of Ms. Bayar Imad, a select group of students undertook significant renovations at the Erbil Nursing Home, enhancing the facility’s infrastructure. This initiative reflects the faculty’s dedication to community engagement and practical application of legal principles in social welfare contexts.
